50分（及格線） 學位等級：合格Pass

　　60-70分 學位等級：良好Merit

　　70分以上 學位等級：優秀Distinction

　　到了研究生階段
，同樣也是百分製，但是需要達到50分才能及格。也就是說平均分和畢業論文都達到40分，並且修滿180學分就可以順利畢業了。其中畢業論文就占了60學分
，所以隻要你平時上課正常跟著走
，不要掛科，畢業論文也正常的去完成都是可以順利畢業的。

　　其實嚴格說起來，英國的研究生並沒有“掛科”這個說法。因為最後畢業時的證書是根據你的總成績 分等級而頒發的：

　　A、Distinction-卓越

　　英國分數在70以上
，相當於中國成績90分以上
，平均分數和畢業論文獲得70分以上可得Distinction，這是成績最優秀的畢業成績。通常來說，得到Distinction的同學都是非常優秀。

　　那你可能會問，我要成績多少才可以獲Distinction
？

　　

　　見上圖的換算表，如果成績在A5（70%）以上

，就是穩奔distinction的了。

　　以格拉斯哥大學為例
，其官方說法：

　　A candidate who has achieved at the first attempt a grade point average of 18 (equivalent to A5) or above for the taught courses and grade A5 or above for the dissertation or other substantial independent work will be eligible for the award with Distinction.

　　那就是，如果你想要畢業獲得Distinction獎，至少需要

　　1.平時課程的成績等於或高於GPA18（相當於A5成績）

　　2.畢業論文或其他等同作品的成績等於或高於A5成績

　　B
、Merit-優

　　英國分數在60以上，相當於中國成績80分以上
，平均分數獲得至少60分畢業論文至少獲得60分可得Merit。碩士最終成績在60%-69%之間，有些學校是要求更高一些65%-69%，也就是成績良好。

　　要獲Merit，以格拉斯哥大學為例
，其官方說法：

　　A candidate who has achieved at the first attempt a grade point average of 15 (equivalent to B3) or  above for the taught courses and grade B3 or above for the dissertation or other substantial  independent work will be eligible for the award with Merit.

　　那就是，如果你想要畢業獲得Merit獎，你則需要

　　1.平時課程的成績等於或高於GPA15（相當於B3成績）

　　2.畢業論文或其他等同作品的成績等於或高於B3成績

　　C
、Pass-通過

　　英國分數在50以上，相當於中國成績60分以上，平均分數和畢業論文都至少獲得50分可得Pass，碩士成績過碩士及格線50%即可。不過有些學校並沒有Merit，把50%-69%統統算為Pass。

　　要Pass，以格拉斯哥大學為例
，其官方說法：

　　To be eligible for a Postgraduate  Diploma (PgDip), the student must achieve a gradepoint average of at least 9.0 in the taught courses, with at least 80 of the credits at grade A–D. To be eligible to progress to  the dissertation, the student must achieve a grade point average of at least 12.0 in the taught  courses, with not more than 25% of the credits at grade E and none of the credits at grade  G–H. To be eligible for the masters degree, the student must go on to achieve at least grade D3 in the dissertation.

　　簡單點來說就是：要Pass
，平時課程成績和畢業論文都要等於或高於D3（GPA9）。而要能寫畢業論文
，就要求平時課程成績要等於或高於C3（GPA12）才可以寫。

　　低於50分的就不能獲得碩士學位
，而是一個叫做Postgraduate  Diploma（成功修滿120學分）或Certificate（成功修滿60學分）的結業證書。隻有達到50分以上拿到的畢業證書才是真正的碩士學位證書，其他的不管是Diploma還是Certificate都隻是你讀過碩士的一個證明
，不是學位證明。
